Prosperity Lab champions the eighth annual Digital Inclusion Week, a crucial platform to celebrate and amplify the community-driven initiatives that are breaking down digital barriers—one connection, one device, and one skill at a time. To that end we Established our Digital Equity Lab in 2022. A program that has already provided over 100 residents with basic computer literacy and take home devices.  Allowing them access to the digital age in the heart of Silicon Valley. Join this intense One day Entrepreneurial Bootcamp for early career hopefuls who would like to understand the path towards becoming their own boss.  A team of instructors from Prosperity lab will cover a variety of fundamentals topics, key to future entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship Mindset o   Understand the characteristics and attitudes of successful entrepreneurs. o   Develop a growth mindset that embraces challenges, perseverance, and continuous learning. Permits o   Navigate the permit process for the City of San José. o   Understand considerations and zoning for business locations. o   Familiarize with permitting processes at local, state, and federal levels. Fiscal Responsibilities o   Grasp the essentials of commercial structure and taxation. o   Understand sales tax, EIN, and ITIN requirements. o   Learn key accounting practices and identify common business deductions. o   Interpret financial statements to gauge business health. All about Capital o   Develop strategies for managing business capital. o   Understand different types of business credit and their impacts. o   Distinguish between good and bad debts. o   Explore various funding sources and assess finance ability.
