SUMMARY:ESO ReEntry Entrepreneurship Summit
DESCRIPTION:Join ESO Ventures and the County of Santa Clara Diversion and ReEntry Services for our first ever ReEntry Entrepreneurship Summit. For the past twenty weeks\, Santa Clara County based entrepreneurs with a record have participated in an ESO Ventures business incubator focused on building the confidence and competence to run a fully functional small business and prepare for their first capital investment. As a celebration of their achievements\, and to bring more awareness of this new partnership and opportunity for economic mobility in Santa Clara County\, we are hosting this event at West Valley College on November 17 from 3-5:30pm. This event will bring our entrepreneurs\, partners\, stakeholders and community champions together to celebrate our collective wins and discuss the road ahead to create a more equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem in the South Bay. \nWe are delighted to bring a nationally recognized formerly incarcerated social entrepreneur Hector Guadalupe\, Executive Director of A Second U Foundation\, as our keynote speaker to share his journey of wellness and business ownership. The program will also feature a fireside chat with SCC DRS Director Javier Aguirre\, and entrepreneurs from the ESO cohort. \nThis is the beginning of a long journey to build a more equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem in the heart of Silicon Valley. Over the next two years ESO will be incubating and investing in 40 entrepreneurs with a record in Santa Clara County.
